ProTrak Trailers has recently started producing a pierced-frame trailer which is changing the standards for our competition and the industry. There are very few companies offering a pierced-framed option at all, but ProTrak has perfected the technology and has a patent pending on the cold-punched process that owner and president Seth Davlin has designed and implemented into our tandem dual trailer building system. The added strength is not the only plus...it also makes the trailer 5 inches lower than a non-pierced model for easier loading. There are too many trailer companies out there in the marketplace to mention, but the strength and quality of our trailers stands well above the rest.

The few competitors that offer a pierced-frame design are cutting the holes in the I-beam with a cutting torch, which heats the steel to a high degree, causing stress cracks and weakening. It also makes a very rough edge which does not have the smooth edges and clean fit that the ProTrak system offers. The other competitors that are offering low-profile trailers are welding the crossmembers to the I-beams. This process obviously cannot come close to the strength and durability of the ProTrak design.

Another huge difference in the design of our trailer is our continuous, non-spliced siderail system which again no other company is using. Essentially this means that if you buy a 40 foot trailer, the siderail is 40 feet long with no welds, no breaks in the continuity...a single piece of iron for added strength and flexibility. No welds to crack or break!
